Hello Gilham Families,

Medications: If your child has any medications at school, please set yourself a reminder now to drop by the office to pick those up before June 15th.  We will not be returning medications on the last day of school unless it is an emergency medication.  We cannot keep medications over the summer and we cannot give them to your child to bring home.  Please email Nurse Cathy with any questions or if special arrangements are needed: Erickson_c@4J.lane.edu

Help your child or teen find the joy of reading by participating in 4J’s summer reading program, Sora into Summer. The goal is to read 20 minutes a day all summer long.
Students can access the vast 4J online book collection through the Sora app, available on any device or via a web browser at soraapp.com. This video will walk you through logging into Sora or see the linked flyer.

Cleaning for a Cause – Are you getting ready to clean out closets and cull thorough books and toys? Please consider donating to Bags of Love, a local nonprofit helping children in crisis. We rely heavily upon community donations to keep our inventory stocked, and we accept donations of new and gently used clothing, toys, and books. Items must be clean, tear- and stain-free, and in good condition. Serving children ages birth-17 and sizes preemie to adult 4XL means our clothing needs are wide-ranging and never-ending! You can drop off donations at our warehouse (1052 Green Acres Rd), which is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
