Friday starts at 7:55 and ends at 1:10.
Teacher Appreciation Week – We want to give A BIG Shout out to our Teachers! Thank you for everything that you are doing daily to help support Gilham Students. Also a big thanks to ALL staff for the support and hard work that goes into everyday. This week is teacher appreciation week, you can have your student make a card to bring in to their teacher or send them a little note.

Jogathon Envelopes – Jogathon Envelopes are due no later than May 9th.
REPEAT – Intent to Return to Gilham for the 2023/24 School Year — We are collecting information to start planning for next year and we need to know if your student is returning to Gilham. Please respond by May 26th. You will need to submit this for each of your children attending Gilham. Click here for the Intent to Return Form.
REPEAT – We’d love to have you as a parent representative on our school’s Site Council! – Site Council is the governing body of our school. It is made up of parent representatives serving staggered two-year terms, teacher representatives, one classified representative and the principal. Site Council meets once a month to discuss school curriculum, school structure, staff development plans and training options, the school calendar, and other concerns parents and teachers may have. Serving as a member of Site Council is an excellent way to make a difference in our school and to be involved in important issues and decisions. Two parent representatives are needed.
If you are interested in becoming a parent representative on Site Council, please submit this form by Friday, May 26th, 2023. Site Council reps are required to be elected by their peers. Voting will be held at the June PTO meeting.
REPEAT – District Kinder Event For Enrolling Kinder for 23/24 School Year – Eugene School District 4J welcomes families who will have an incoming kindergarten aged student to join us for a special Welcome to Kindergarten Event on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 pm. We invite students and their families to join us for this fun filled evening. The attached flyer has additional information. We hope to see you there!
2022/2023 4J Parent & Family Engagement & Partnership Survey – Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete this survey. Your feedback will be used to inform our efforts to continually improve our district, our schools, and our partnership with parents to help students succeed.
The Spring book fair is here! It will be in the library May 8-12th. You can shop before school M-F from 7:15-7:45, after school M-TH from 2:40-3:30pm, Tuesday from 5-6:30pm, or online by clicking here.
The PTO will be selling a limited number of $25 Track Town gift cards for $15 each at the Talent Show and again on Friday, May 12th, after school. Get yours before they sell out! We only have 100 of them!
